DINING EVENTS

Dining Events are held at The Red Door by request. For an event to happen, one member must telephone The Chef to request the date and the menu. The minimum attendance for an event is four people, not including The Chef. If you wish, you can request an event with fewer than four people, then wait on standby to see if other members will join you to meet the minimum of four people.

Please request events at least one, preferably two weeks in advance.

The member who requests an event may choose the style of cuisine. Ask for the dishes you would like. I can guarantee to serve your first choice request, and will do my best to accommodate all other requests. However, I reserve artistic and economic license with the final menu. For example, you may request French Bourride, and receive surprises for the remaining courses. Or, if you prefer, you can request a complete surprise!

PARTICIPATION

Events at The Red Door are open to all members of the club and their guests; there are no private parties. Thus, any unfilled seats at an event are offered to all club members and their guests. A fully seated table affords social mixing and communal dining, and broadens the menu possibilities.

Members will be notified by email about all upcoming events. You may also check the schedule. To participate, simply make a reservation for an event, and pay for your tickets a week in advance.
